About the film
American Arthur goes to the notorious suicide forest to commit suicide at the foot of Mount Fuji. Arthur is already ready to take the final step, but then he meets a Japanese man who was lost in the forest after an unsuccessful attempt to take his own life.. But getting out of the forest is much more difficult than getting into it, and two men set off on a difficult, reflective journey through the “sea of trees” to find a way out - but not from life, but from the forest.
