About the film
After the death of Ertugrul, the rule over Turkish lands passed to his heir, 23-year-old Osman I Gazi. He inherited the region of Phrygia, but this was not enough for the ambitious young leader. Osman dreamed of making his homeland known throughout the world. Despite his youth and inexperience, he began to successfully expand the borders of his domain — conquering parts of the Byzantine Empire, securing access to the Marmara and Black Seas, and uniting with Muslims fleeing the Mongols. Osman himself was the bravest warrior in his army, always leading from the front and inspiring his comrades. Through his efforts, a great empire would one day be born — one that would bear his name. But before that future arrives, Osman must overcome betrayal, loss, and conspiracy — and fight for the love of his life.
